Hadith about some eatable things

Some herbs, plants , fruits etc are in the shifa for human body.

1. Black seed:

Within Islam there are many herbs, plants and fruits that are believed to have medicinal and healing properties. Olive, pomegranate, dates and figs are amongst those that are directly mentioned in the Qur’an as blessed foods. However, there is only one that can stake a claim as a super food and that is Black cumin or Habbat ul sawda as it is known in Arabic.

According to hadith, the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) is believed to have said: “In the black seed is healing for every disease except death.” (Sahih Bukhari)

2. Honey:

The holy Quran and Hadith refer to honey as a healer of disease.
'And thy Lord taught the bee to build its cells in hills, on trees and
in (men's) habitations..... there issues from within their bodies a
drink of varying colours, wherein is healing for mankind. Verily in
this is a Sign for those who give thought'.
(Translation of Quran 16:68-69)
    the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
'Honey is a remedy for every illness and the Qur'an is a remedy
for all illness of the mind, therefore I recommend to you both
remedies, the Qur'an and honey.' Bukhari

  3. Date:
Eating date fruit is good for health

It is recommended to break our fast on dates”, as Prophet

Mohammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do:

“Break your fast by eating dates as it is

purifying.” (Narrated by Ahmad)

The Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "There is a tree among the trees which is similar to a Muslim (in goodness), and that is the date palm tree." (Bukhari,  (65): 359)

4.Olive (Zaitoon)

Fig is a tree brought to India during the Moghul rule and has stayed over since. The leaves are highly useful as feed for cattle. Figs are high sources of calcium, iron and copper. Zinc is also moderately present. Vit. A and C are present in all forms of fig fruit while Vit. A is lost by 30 percent in dry ones. Vit B complex and vit D are also present.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (t) narrates that the Prophet (Pbuh) stated, “ Eat the olive oil and apply it (locally), since there is cure for seventy diseases in it, one of them is Leprosy.” (Abu Naim)

Hazrat Zaid Bin Arqam narrates “ We have been directed by the Prophet (Pbuh) that we should treat the Pleurisy with Qust-e-Behri (Qust Sheerin) and olive oil.” (Tirmizi, sanadeAhmed, Ibn Maja)

Muharram: Importance in Islam

This article is written by Mrs.Shaheena wajid
Muharram-ul-Haraam:-

Muharram ul Haram is the Ist month of Islamic lunar Hijrah Calander. The date of Hijri calander is  4th Muharram 1436.It is the first month of the Islamic Calendar.

The meaning of the word:- The word "Muharram" means "Forbidden." Even before Islam, this month was always known as a scared month in which all unlawful acts were forbidden, prominently the shedding of blood.

This month is including the sacred months. In the year there are 12 months but four months have sanctified and Muharram is one of the sanctified months. The sacred months are Zilqadah , Zil Hajj, Muharram and Rajab. three are in the sequence and Rajab is seperate. All the islamic months are sacred and have their importance. Ramadhan is the full of blessing months but these four have sanctity.

The Quran says about these months:

"The number of the months according to Allah is twelve months (mentioned) in the Book of Allah on the day in which He created heavens and the earth. Among these (twelve months) there are four sanctified."   The commentators of the Holy Quran are unanimous on this point, because the Holy Prophet  in his sermon on the occasion of his last Hajj, has declared:

"One year consists of twelve months, of which four are sanctified months, three of them are in sequence; Zulqadah, Zulhijjah, Muharram, and the fourth is Rajab."

In this month muslims conduct fast, about fasting during  this month

The Holy Prophet  has said:

"The best fasts after the fasts of Ramadan are those of the month of Muharram."

Although the month of Muharram is a sanctified month as a whole, yet, the 10th day of Muharram is the most sacred among all its days. The day is named Ashurah.
According to the Holy companion Ibn Abbas. The Holy Prophet , when migrated to Madinah, found that  the Jews of Madinah used to fast on the 10th day of Muharram. They said that it was the day on which the Holy Prophet Musa (Moses) and his followers crossed the Red Sea miraculously and the Pharaoh was drowned in its water.
On hearing this from the Jews, the Holy Prophet  said, "We are more closely related to Musa than you" and directed the Muslims to fast on the day of Ashurah. (Abu Dawood).

This month is a very important as a sacrifce of Qarbala. where there Muslims and Family of Muhammad peace be upon Him Hazrat Imam e Hussain R.A get deposition (Shahdah) for the raised of Islam.

There are some wrong practiced about this month. The misconception about the month of Muharram is that it is an evil or unlucky month, for Sayyidna Husain was killed in it.It is for this misconception that people avoid holding marriage ceremonies in the month of Muharram.
Another wrong practice related to this month is to hold the lamentation and mourning ceremonies in the memory of martyrdom of Sayyidna Hussain.
The event of Karbala is one of the most tragic events of our history, but the Holy Prophet  has forbidden us from holding the mourning ceremonies on the death of any person.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has forbidden to beating us on every person's death and also forbidden held mourning ceremonies. The Holy Prophet PBUH stopped the Muslims from doing all this and directed them to observe patience by saying "Inna lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi raaji oon".

According to a Hadith:"He is not from our group who slaps his cheeks, tears his clothes and cries in the manner of the people of jahiliyyah."

 Jazakallah

Islam Basically Easy

Islam basically Easy

Islam is a basically too easy but people make it difficult. If any muslim want to do some work good

and some good deeds

then he /she should do directly as a muslim and contact to the way of Allah and his prophet means
follow the Quran and hadith . Like when if we want pay our prayer purely and perfectly then adopt

the way of Quran and sunnah no need to go any Firqah(tableeghi Jammat, Wahabi, Ahl e hadithi

etc). Because when we found the different  scholar or other ulma's methodology whose they are related to the any firqah then any religious

work or deed is so much difficult. So this is a big problem. We are only a muslim and muslim do any work

or action easily with the help and way of Allah and his Last Messanger "Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him".

Quran says

Qul atiullah wa atiurrasool

Translation:"Say:Obey Allah And obey His Messenger"

Thanks and Follow the sugesstion of a muslim sister who tell to you go to the easy way of islam,

dont mixup your mind and thinking straight way adopt. Insha Allah all muslims successfull their good deeds.
Jazakallah

Eid-ul-Adha

This article is written by Mrs.Shaheena wajid
Eid-ul-Adha is a great festival of Muslims.  Eid-ul-Adha is  an "Arabic" name of Eid-ul-Zuha and also
known as  "Festival of Sacrifice". Many Muslims in subcontinent celebrate this event on the 10th to
13th Zulhijja and its also  celebrated  as a great Festival among Muslims all over the world.
The 9th day of Zulhijjah is called 'Youmul - "Arafah' (The Day of 'Arafah). This is a place  six miles away
from Makkah al-Mukarramah, where Haji perform the most essential part of the important duties of hajj,
namely, the 'Wuqoof -e-Arafat  or the stay in 'Arafat. In the 9th of Zilhajj Muslims perform their fast but
the Fast of Youmul 'Arafah is mustahabb (desirable). Muslims of each country  to observe the  fast on
'Youml' Arafah the different days because the  9th Zilhijjah falls on different days in different countries
according to the sighting of the moon.
Eid-ul-Zuha is an event of sacrifice. People slaughtring the animals such as   goat, sheep, camel, oxes
and cows etc. This is commemorate the sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim A.S to his son for Allah's  S.W will.
It is great enthuiasm among all over the world. This festival muslims perform Haj in Mecca. Prayers are
offered in the Mosques and after   the prayer sacrificial duties have done. Qurbani can only be performed
during the three days of Eid, namely the 10th, Ilth and 12th of Zulhijjah.  No Qurbani can be performed in
any other days of the year. There is an  important  one thing the sacrifice must be held after Eid prayer it
not be done before prayer.
The Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) said:
Found In: Sahih Bukhari Chapter No: 15, The Two Festivals (Eids)
Hadith no:93  The Prophet went towards Al-Baqi (the grave-yard at Medina) on the day of Eid-ul-Adha and offered a two-Rakat prayer (of Eid-ul-Adha) and then faced us and said, "On this day of ours, our first act of worship is the offering of prayer and then we will return and slaughter the sacrifice, and whoever does this concords with our Sunna; and whoever slaughtered his sacrifice before that (i.e. before the prayer) then that was a thing which he prepared earlier for his family and it would not be considered as a Nusuk (sacrifice.)" A man stood up and said, "O, Allah's Apostle! I slaughtered (the animal before the prayer) but I have a young she-goat which is better than an older sheep." The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said to him, "Slaughter it. But a similar sacrifice will not be sufficient for anybody else after you".
The meat from the sacrifice must be distributed to the poor and needy people and also can
be donated needy person like flood effective people and IDP's.
This sacrifice raised passion to help and care for the others whose are poor and needy.
Allah give all Muslims more strength to help the others. Ameen
Through this beautiful occasion we meet altogether and  distribute meat our relatives,
neighbors, family, friends and poor.In this event we  give presents each other and celebrate
parties with family and friends and making delicious food.
Allah is a most merciful their creature. through this event He checked our faith, that  how the people
whose  are able to give or participate in Eid-ul-Adha sacrifice, can will they divide and distribute
partially in every one . Although  the person who offering a Qurbani can keep all its meat for his own use,
yet, it is preferable to distribute one-third among the poor, another one-third among his relatives and
then, keep the rest for his personal consumption because Allah has no need of any flesh, any blood but
he knows the intention of every person if that is pure then near to Allah S.W is acceptable.
In the Holy Quran;
It is not their flesh nor their blood that reaches Allah; it is your piety that reaches Him.                Al-Quran:  22:37
There are thousands of poor & deprived families in Pakistan who do not perform Qurbani on

Eid-ul-Adha. So we should distributes meat of Qurbani among these families.
