Specail dua of Shab-e-qadar(Night of power)

Any one of 21, 23, 25, 27 and 29th nights of Ramazan is Laila-tul-Qadr. Revelation of Holy Quran began in any one to these nights and was completed also in any one of these five nights.

What is Shab-e-Qadar

Laylat al-Qadr (Arabic: لیلة القدر‎) (also known as Shab-e-Qadr , loaned from Persian), variously rendered in English as the Night of Decree, Night of Power, Night of Value, Night of Destiny, or Night of Measures, is in Islamic belief the night when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Islamic Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). It is one of the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan and is better than 1000 months of worship.Muslims believe that on this night, the blessings and mercy of Allah is abundant, sins are forgiven,supplications are accepted, and that the annual decree is revealed to the angels who also descend to earth.

The night of power:

Surah No. 97, Al Qadr, Ayats No. 1 to 5

oوَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ o إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِالْقَدْرِ

o لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِخَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ

oتَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَابِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ

o سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّى مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ

Translation :

We have indeed revealed this (Quran) in the Night of Power (Night of Al Qadr ): And what will make you know what the Night of Power (Night of Qadr) is ? The Night of Power is better than a thousand Months. Therein the angels and the Spirit (Jibraeel) come down on the earth by Allah's permission, with all decrees : (All that Night) there is Peace until the appearance of dawn.

Ad Dukhan, Ayats No. 2 to 4

o وَالْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ

o إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مُّبَارَكَةٍ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ

o فِيهَا يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ

Translation :

By this Book, which makes things clear, We sent it down (this Quran) during a blessed night (in the night of Qadr): In fact ! We wish to warn (the mankind). In this night all affair of wisdom are made crear .

Ahabith about shab-e-Qadar

Narrated Ibn Abbas:
The Prophet said, "Look for the Night of Qadr in the last ten nights of Ramadan ,' 

The Messenger of Allah (saws) told us to search for Shab-e-Qadr in the odd numbered nights, in the last ten days of Ramzan. So, the 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th or 29th night of Ramadan could be Shab-e-Qadr.

Hazrat Aisha (ra) stated that Prophet Mohammad (saws) said, "Look for Lailat-ul-Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadhan." (Bukhari)

The verses above regard the night as better than one thousand months. The whole month of Ramadan is a period of spiritual training wherein believers devote much of their time to fasting, praying, reciting the Quran, remembering Allah, and giving charity. However because of the revealed importance of this night, Muslims strive [give more effort] harder in the last ten days of Ramadan since the Laylat al-Qadr could be one of the odd-numbered days in these last ten (the first, third, fifth, seventh or ninth)

Superiority of Shab-e-Qadar

This night Hazrat  Isa (A.S) lifted on skies (ensky).

This night accepted abondon (Tobah) of hazrat Israel (A.S) .

 The angles are procreated in this night.

This night the material of creation of Hazrat Syedana Adam (A.S) to start collection.

This night trees are implanted in paradise(Heaven).


power of night Namaz, wazaif,Dua

 - Two rak‘ats - one Salaam 
 - In every rak’at recite Surah Fatiha once and Surah Ikhlas seven times 
   After completing the Salaah (Namaz) 
 - Recite Durud sharif 100 times 
   and 
 - Astagfar 100 times
